Urban Challenges & Solutions
I am solving the Aging Population Mobility Gap. In many "Super-Aged" societies, elderly citizens become isolated because traditional public transit is too far from their doorsteps. I am leading the development of AI-dispatched, autonomous micro-shuttles that provide on-demand, door-to-door transportation for those with limited mobility.
Background & Experience
Yuki Tanaka is a visionary leader at the intersection of robotics and urban logistics. With a background in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Stanford, Yuki spent his early career at a leading Japanese automotive firm developing sensor technology for self-driving cars. In 2021, he pivoted to the public sector to address the social implications of tech-led urbanism. He now manages a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists and sociologists dedicated to making cities more "human-centric" through technology. Yuki is an advocate for "Ethical AI" and works closely with regulators to ensure that autonomous transit systems are safe, transparent, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their technological literacy.
